Title: System board has stopped working what happens to the Windows licence?

So I recently upgraded an older laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and then the motherboard stopped working, so then I put the HD in another system and it's telling me I have to activate the Windows.  What do I do as I can't use same prod-key twice.

Sorry to hear that...  What exactly do you mean by the motherboard stopped working?  What error messages did you get?

You may also have to get another prod key
