Thanks for sharing this info, although most hosting services - at least one's that have cPanel, already offer email clients at no extra cost.

Yes, but these are not self hosted, but by the hosting company providing the server space.

Don't want to contradict, but self hosted doesn't mean hosting an email client on your own local system. ;)

Yes, of course - me stupido on this occasion, and you're right.  Most hosting deals do indeed come with free email clients.
