Nope I haven't lost it. ;)  I was looking-up all sorts last night and by chance found some SE results saying that there wasn't a moon a long time ago.  Some strange place somewhere in Bolivia apparently built about 11000 years ago was inhabited by people that never made references of the moon.  Crazy, right?

Well this certainly got my attention it sounded so incredible, so did some SE'ing and found this site which mentions somewhere called Kalasasaya in Bolivia built about 13000 yrs ago. :o   Scroll down to third paragraph in the article.

Same site I found! :-*   Sorry, should have said to begin with.  But what does this mean??  That 8000 years before much was recorded in biblical areas there was this Kalasasaya place that made no record of the moon?  Don't get it! :-\

I can see why this is surprising.  Wasn't it Henry Ford that said history is bunk?  Or something like that.  How were they able to translate any writings or symbols that they found in this 13,000 year old city to know if the moon is mentioned or not?  Thought provoking find though. ;)

Get that, for writing's anyway.  Must be some truth though to what's said on this site, right?  What about any symbols?  They're visual, don't need to translate them...  :-\

Many cave paintings depict stick-figures hunting animals about thirty times their size, but you don't take them literally. ;)   So I guess even symbols have to be translated in a sense.

Just googled 'Kalasasaya no moon' and right at the top of the list it suggests 'Kalasasaya' was a temple.  The site says that the 'place' was somewhere called Tiwanaku. ???

Yes, seems you're right!  Well spotted! Some of us got our wires crossed, including me. :P  Had another good look at that site and it actually says Tiwanaku was built 13000 yrs ago, not Kalasasaya which was a temple in it!

Clears things up a bit, but doubt there was ever a period when there was no moon and then 'suddenly there was one' after some cataclysm, great flood what have you.  Do ppl have any idea what it would take to cause this?
